Dr.phil I can't see them being able to handle the pressure later on in the year ? What makes you think it will be different to last year no real changes in the team ?

Young David Brady is a huge difference and a years development of some of there younger players from last year that broke into the team has stood them good , and also Captain Eamon Costello didn't play any senior ball last year!!!

Laragh Utd had a bye into Rd 3 of the Intermediate Championship as losers of the Preliminary Rd as was agreed at the outset, and Killinkere got a bye as Cavan Gaels withdrew from the competition.

Seems farcical.
Should be 2 goups. top 4 in each should qualify for Q/Finals and get rid of the Breffni League. Breffni league not taken seriously. You'd have more competitive games.

Not really as Drung got a handy game against Redhills to qualify for the quarter's , whereas Laragh may have a tougher team to play to get there!!!!!!

is it because Flannagan is playing with the bridge you think they will win the intermediate or is there another reason. I think anyone predicting the bridge to win out the intermediate championship are in for a shock they will not be in the final thats for sure. They are used to a small pitch and the wide open space of Breffni park will not suit them at all.

Lurcan Mulvey will be back with the Bridge camp come crunch time is why some could be predicting them but there a long long way off an intermediate but there doing something right over there at underage at the minute...that redbridge amalgamation could become a thing of the past very soon and would leave redhills in alot of bother if it does..,

When is the draw for the quarter finals on ? No one will want to get either the bridge or drung I would say as both have good championship pedigree.... Many teams wouldn't mind getting Ballyhaise as they may be suspect at this time of the year !

I think if Swad beat Killenkere they will also beat Belturbet. The number of games Swad will have played compared to the long time with no competitive football for belturbet should give Swad the advantage. Agree on the above predictions on other 3 games. Butlersbridge will push Ballyhaise hard but I can't see them winning

Everyone would have wanted to avoid Ballyhaise until it heats up in the Final.
