Flanagan, If he got a straight red, will be a big loss, he is a fine player and a great target man, who links up with great effect. It will be another intriguing contest as Mullahoran look like they have moved up a gear and would have to be at their best to beat Castlerahan. Its beginning to feel a bit like Championship now.

You left out Ballinagh maybe it was an error. This was the best match played in Breffni Park this year at any level by both teams, this includes Inter County. Looking forward to the replay Wednesday night. McDermot from Ballinagh was outstanding. P.S No quarter asked no quarter given by both teams.

The replay will be interesting. Word has it Lavey's very own Abramovich has 3-4 players coming back from abroad, two having just won major GAA tournaments with club sides in Australia. The lads are meant to land Tuesday morning. Hopefully jet lag isn't an issue by Wednesday night.

Paul Fitzpatrick wrote an article a few weeks ago about the standard of football and looking for amalgamations. The last couple of weeks have blew this theory out of water. The standard has being brilliant at all levels and great games for the spectators. Lavey Ballinagh the most recent. Ramor Castlerahan two enjoyable games.

Was anybody at the Castlerahan Mullahoran match. It seems unfair that Castlerahan would be asked to play extra time on their third match in a week.
How could somebody get access to turn off a generator. Seems bizarre.

Yes I was at the game and i don't see why it was unfair to play extra time. Would it have been fairer to ask Castlerahan to play again in 3 days? That would be 4 games in 10 days and if they won they'd be out again the next Sunday. At the end of the day they have only themselves to blame, they were 5 points up with 10 minutes to go and they sat back and invited Mullahoran on to them. You'd have to question their bottle at this stage as they have now lost tight games to Kingscourt, Ramor and Mullahoran. As for Mullahoran you can see them getting stronger the more games they play and if they do end up playing Lavey again i can see them getting some revenge for the first round defeat

First half in extra time was two minutes short too. Half time called by county board and not referee. Castlerahan only themselves to blame. Missed open goal peno and numerous frees. Thought referee let a lot of stuff go too.

The clock on the scoreboard stopped and showed 9 min 41 sec of the 1st half in extra time played. The half was 19 sec short and whatever the ref wanted to add on.It was announced on the PA that the ref had called half time. I didnt hear any whistle.

The clock was stopped at 19 41 but had run on for a minute after lights went out. It did not stop straight away. The whole situation bizarre. Why is the switch to floodlights not better protected.

Yes the clock stopped at 9:41 and a couple of seconds after the lights went out the referee blew the whistle. It was hard to hear because of the roar from the crowd but the whistle did blow. Castlerahan missed a penalty and should have scored a goal in extra time. On the other hand the Mullahoran keeper gifted Castlerahan 1-1

I think you'll find that Mullahoran had the ball. Check the video coverage. And check your facts before you spread lies.

Mullahoran did not have the ball when the lights went out. A Castlerahan player had the ball in the Mullahoran half just outside the 'D'. Castlerahan had all the momentum before the lights went out and the stoppage suited Mullahoran as they were chasing the game at that particular stage.

Castlerhan most definitely had the ball when the lights went out shortly after 8 minutes into the first period of extra time.And whats more, is that they were in the Mullahoran half of the pitch. What went on in Breffni last night was nothing short of disgraceful. 2 Castlerahan players were clothes lined and no cards issued either black or yellow or red. Castlerahan were most definitely on top and in the driving seat before someone switched of the lights and to quote the PA this was a ''malicious'' act. It wasnt fair to expect these lads to play extra time due to the pathetic scheduling of the county board. There was an All-Ireland hurling final yday in Croke park and club hurling games in Tipperary are played on the weekends between county days out and they are contesting All-Irelands!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review the video coverage and you will see who had possession. Fionnan Reilly had the ball when the lights went out. No point in arguing. Would also say that the referee was more favourable towards Castlerahan, and even with that Castlerahan didn't have the stomach to finish the game. What happened this young exciting team? Sure Mullahoran are too old to keep with them? A lot of people eating humble pie this morning.

Castlerahan don't deserve to be in the quarter-finals.They played five games lost three, drew one they should have lost thanks to Conor Dourneen and were lucky to beat Drumalee by one point. They cant really complain, that not the form of Champions.
