Replying To fredflint:  "Sure we know you are a gaels fanboy, especially for one player. Why don't you support cavan, well I'm not a doctor but all I can say is it's clear enough you find joy when posting in defeat and say nothing when they win. Perhaps you were once scorned by the county setup?"

Definitely was from 2011-2016. Amateurs pretending to be County Managers

Seem to remember you claiming not to be a gaels man on here just an admirer.

Kerry Roscommon draw

Cavan survive, Roscommon and Monaghan relegated.
Queue Breffni Park meltdown.

That's how I see it going anyway.

I agree, there's lots of them about alright, especially from 2011-2016, hurlers on the ditch, people who think they know better than the man in the job, unfortunately most of these amateurs couldn't manage themselves never mind a county team.

Off topic a little bit but I assume all genuine Cavan fans on here will dig into their pockets to support the new centre of excellence venture. Www.winindublin15.ie is where you buy a ticket.

I'll tell ya whats wrong with Cavan football. We have no players in the mould of 'traditional hardy honest Ulster footballers'
I'm talking Kieran McGeeney, Conor Gormley, Neil McGee etc. No men like this in Cavan. The last one we had was Bernard Morris. Until we start producing such men we will continue to falter.

Padraig Faulkner? Gearoid? Killian clarke? Big men, strong men. Unfortunately that isn't the only ingredient for success.

They're big and strong surely, but they're not tough.

Fintan Cahill wasn't the biggest man ever to play for Cavan but he was tough. He could break any tackle and take a score. We don't have that now.

He also played in an era of man v man. The modern game would not suit Fintan.

Yes he is suffering today with crocked knees but a classy player for sure.

Holla is every bit the player Gaynor was and better as he stays on the field for 70 mins. Stop eulogising players from the past, it's pointless.

It's leaders Cavan lack. Being smart on the ball, showing determination. There is a few, not enough
Mackey was a good leader, doesn't have the same pace but a quality player.

Yep. And it was actually forwards that won us our last Ulster.

Wasn't a terrible performance, we are just missing natural forwards , but good effort by the lads in the league . Hopefully C Reilly gets back to fitness for championship and we find another forward somewhere .
