Replying To GallantJohnJoe:  "Hasn't Ryan Connolly only played 1 game in junior football, and that was against the whipping boys of Cavan football? Corlough will definitely beat them incidentally."
He scored 1-9 the week before against Killeshandra in the division 3 playoff which is also Junior football.. We'll see by the end of the championship if he is standout in this grade but in my opinion he is.

Drumlane will walk the Junior champ this year. Knockbride will run them tight but maybe a year early for them. Hard to know with Denn. They had a good win at the weekend but Kildallan they don't really turn up in championship. Killinkere will also have a big say. They played some good ball during the league.

Dont think Drumlane will walk it now. Lucky enough to get out of Corlough with a win tonight Shannon Gaels wasteful in the last 10 minutes I hear.

Good result for Drumalee beating Kildallon also.

Denn should be the team to beat in Junior. Good experience and youth. The likes of Corr, Cahill, Kiernan played in 2 Senior finals.

Cuchulainns looked decent yesterday. Magee won a lot at full forward and played well overall. Keating kicked a few monster frees but not a lot else

Ballinagh v Gowna is a close one, could go either way

Looking back at my predictions, they weren't too far off the mark. Drumlane not as far ahead of the pack as people think but still contenders. Shannon Gaels and Drumalee are obviously still capable of giving teams a run for their money as well and shouldn't be taken for granted.

Kildallan have a lot to do now with 2 losses and a do or die game against Knockbride up next,

Denn would still be my favourites, followed by Killinkere. Both are scoring heavily. Knockbride seem to just be getting the job done against mediocre teams so far so they are hard to judge at the moment.

The Drumlane Denn game especially, but also Knockbride and Killinkere's tougher games next round should provide a good clue to where the 4 are at compared to each other.

A lot of teams the other teams can contend with those 4 teams in one off games but I think those are the only 4 teams good enough to go all the way.

Very surprised with the Redhills result in Intermediate. McKiernan has been steamrolling some teams on his own in Division 2, would like to know how he couldn't get them past a mid table D3 team? Is Paddy Gumley back with Redhills?

I would be thinking Mullahoran, Arva, Laragh, and Cuchulainns will be the contenders for the intermediate. Age & injuries seems to be catching up on Belturbet and Ballyhaise have let me down too often.

How many teams get relegated in the IFC this year. If one, I would say Drumgoon will go down.

Gumley isn't back with redhills. McKiernan wasn't able to influence the game due to Derek Fay at midfield. He gave as good as he got and added a couple of points from play.

Teams i think will win there Senior matches the weekend:
Ramor United
Cavan Gaels
Kingscourt Stars
Castlerahan
Ballinagh
Crosserlough

All should be plaine sailing for the above with exception of Ballinagh v Gowna which could go either way and look forward to see what comes up for next weekends fixtures hopefully a few big hitters against each other. Can see Shercock really struggling at Senior.

Part of terms of u17 amalgamation between Gaels and killygarry that Gaels would let killygarry win first round of senior championship.

Ramor without James Brady, James Mcenroe, Jack Doyle , summerville and barkey and heavily relying on young lads, dont rule it out. Also not surprised over gaels results, called it weeks ago! Very beatable.

Replying To cavanblueman:  "I was also at the last few Gaels matches - they were missing 6/7 against Killygarry, Dunne was on the bench, it was a close match but the Gaels managed it very well and pulled away comfortably in the end.

The Castlerahan game was an easier game for the Gaels, could've won by a lot more, Castlerahan missing Mackey but the Gaels missing a few too.

I can say hand on heart, no team will touch the Gaels this year, they're unbeaten in the league in 2017/2018 and havent even started at full pelt yet, can see them blowing Killygarry away in the first round."
I'll just leave this here

Very quiet on here without Gaels supporter ms commenting about winning Ulster or being unbeaten. When's draw for next round?
