Seemingly none of you lads have ever been at a county team selection meeting of any sort.

Tell you one thing fella I have never in my life stood listening at any door regarding the selection of teams. I for one know whats respectful and don't ever try and put me in the same category as yourself.
YOUWONTCODME (Cavan) why don't you pop down from Terry Coyle and have a man to man chat maybe some home truths might hurt you.
As for being at a county team selection meeting I have never been at one and I make no apology for saying so.
I have on many occasions seen young men walking out the hallway crying yes crying and it's not nice to see after they were told the selection but I have alway's encouraged them not to give up and keep at it.
You might also remember it takes a lot more people to keep the clock ticking over like me looking after the pitch and trying to keep it usable from over training on it and having it ready for games.
I think I have performed well in this area without tapping myself on the shoulder.
I would also think after being involved for near on 40 years in Breifni I learnt a thing or two regarding team management team selection and RESPECT which is sadly lacking by many on here.
Respect a word many don't know the meaning off.

We had a cordial relationship you should know for you were there for a few years. We can sit down and have a decent chat with mutual respect for each other. Don't ever forget that.
I think you would call that for having respect for each other in a decent way.
When he got us promotion to Division 1 I shook his hand and meant it.
When he won the U21 Ulster titles I shook his hand and meant it.
You see everyone has a roll in the park mine was the care of the pitch and other areas at the time.

Thanks for confirming that I used to be in the hallway I was of the opinion the teams were picked in the meeting rooms upstairs.
I would be in the hallway down stairs for it was my duty to be there so I could lock up the stadium or don't you understand that's what my job used to be???
Enjoy your fun. Ha Ha

Is there an outside chance of McVeety taking any part in the Donegal match ?
I'm also a little concerned with Martin Reilly loss of form, was carrying an injury into the league final ?

I suppose we can but hope that there will be no injuries come the Donegal match.
Martin Reilly covers a lot of ground when playing I am not surprised he looks tired at times. One of our older players now.

Maybe we should use Martin Reilly as a squad player bringing him on at half time or taking him off at half time.
He looked tired midway through the 2nd half against Roscommon.
Don't think there 70 mins in him orcSeanie or Mackey

Let's hope that McVetty is only brought back when he is fully fit. I can't help thinking of past Cavan players who were rushed back and effectively had their careers cut short.

30 years old is not old Sean, He minds himself very well. Probably one of the fittest on team.

Your knowledge of the Cavan team is in minus figures.

Read my post I said he is one of our older players no mention of age. I think Martin is a great all round player and probably our best player on performances. So my knowledge of whats there is fine that includes the children.

there are no children on the county senior panel Sean as it is against the rules of the GAA to have children play senior football.

Your knowledge on this site leaves many including me bewildered.

Look nit picking my posts if that's what turns you on so be it the use of the word children is just my views that currently we have children/ young lads playing mature senior hardened footballers. A big step up for any young lad. In a few years IF they are still there they will be strong and mature enough to handle whats coming at them.
Huge difference from senior club football and senior inter-county football at championship level.
Nice to know that you have special meetings regarding my knowledge of the game shame like the coward you are you hide behind the famous name ALIAS unlike myself I am man enough to show who I am.

Hi seanorinn, hope you are keeping well, the steward under the press box in Breffni introduced me to you last year at Donegal Dublin U-21 semi final. Found you pleasant and very knowledgeable on the game and gaa in general. I see you are under attack from a few posters but certainly holding your own. Good man. Roll on Ballybofey in 3 weeks time, we are not firing on all cylinders at all and I expect a very close game.

the last time i was on this was a couple of weeks ago and i gave it a break because of the bickering. Many of you lads and ladies here have probably trained underage teams at some point and i'm sure if the same level of stupid needling was going on you'd have knocked it on the head there and then.
@Sean O Rinn- stop giving your wit and stop answering back to some of the comments, you're currently holding a position in Breffni.
if there are topics to discuss regarding the championship then great lets get back to it.

Hello AudiMan thank you for your nice words and it was a pleasure talking to you. Many from around the country look for me when they pay a visit to see their county play Cavan.
To the weanling get your facts right before you make a fool of your mouth. I retired after the 3rd of September due to ill health and the amount I was required to do was too much for me so I think over 39 years looking after things and 21 years on my own I learnt a thing or two.
I no longer have to work 365 days a year including every weekend. I help out Martin Cahill by keeping the pitch in as good a shape as I can other than that I am retired. I have been unfit to attend a match since I had a major operation on the 5th of September and near bled to death the last week of September thank god for the Mater hospital.
I hope maybe to be able to watch a few matches around the clubs if I am well enough over the next few months.
You will be commenting on Sean O'Rinn the supporter and not the employee from now on.
