Well you might ask what game was Mc Gleenan watchin?
We had a defence tore to bits by Offaly and response was to take of Johnson who had scored 3 points and st up 2 more. Can someone please explain the managements fixation with Clerkin? Why was injured Clarke played and Fergal rRejlly on bench? Why was Corr warming up for 20 minutes before goin on. What did Joe Dillon do to be shoved on with 2 mins to go. The whole setup looks shambolic.

One can question the decisions of the side line until the cows come home but at the end of the day no matter what anyone say's there is nothing that can be done about the,

I suppose a win is a win we will take that but after watching Dublin yesterday destroy a team that beat Offaly in a replay the gap sadly is huge one wonders whats the gap of the rest of the teams in the county. ???

so we are at home to Tipperrary.

Could have been easier but could have been worse.

We are at home which is good for us supporters rather than travelling down to Tipp. but they are a strong team.

Still if we have progressed at all we should be beating them. If we lose then It's not good. this is our all-Ireland final.

No guarantee that we're at home. Will be confirmed later today.

Could be double header in tullamore or portlaoise along with Monaghan or leitrim game.

I was at the game yesterday.
Never looked like loosing but should have put the game to bed earlier.
A few concerns.
Martin Reilly looks like he's carrying an injury as he's not as mobile as usual.
Shouldn't have played killian.
There are a few more players carrying injuries.
Mackey is a breath of fresh air, class act.
Tipperary will be serious opposition.
If we get over them I'll be happy.

I think cavanman47 that the cccc are making the draw this afternoon for home advantage not sure there is any possibility of a double header in Tullamore or Portlaoise. The only way Cavan could not get a home game before the draw was made was if they drew Monaghan that match would 100% have been away.

No, during the draw it said first team out is at home. They can't change that to neutral now. What they said after the draw that they would be confirming the venues and times, which is saying Breffni is a formality for us, just the time to be sorted.

Why will Tipperary be serious opposition?
They are down several of their top players from last year.
If we don't beat them at home it will show a serious lack of progress on our part.

Our forwards are not scoring enough from play.
I'm still mystified as to how some of them are still starting. Surfelt Dillon deserves a start over Clerkin ???

Westmeath 3-17 Offaly 0-15
Dublin 4-29 Westmeath 0-10
Cavan 1-17 Offaly 0-16
The gap is widening

Just a quick not on Tomas Galligan. Really impressed by his short time on the field last night. Huge young man with plenty of pace to boot. Should feature v Tipp, either from the start or as a sub. Gearoid doesn't look at all interested in tracking back and needs to start and stay on the 40.

He played very good when he came on, he was lucky to get a game ,only Mossy got black carded he wouldn't have got a chance . I taught yesterday was a game were Galligan could have got more game time and c oreilly should have got a run . Especially because if Galigan and Buchanan would work in midfield then mc Kieranan could be deployed on the 40

I think McKiernan needs to be moved to the 40. He's so dangerous going forward and is non existent defensively. Was standing with his hands on his hips as offaly ran up the field yesterday.
2 from Buchanan Corr and Galligan need to start in midfield.
Clerkin to make way in the forwards and mcvitty to wear 13 and move between half and full forward lines.
