Derrygonnelly Harps are in great shape ahead of their Ulster club SFC semi-final against Kilcoo this Sunday, according to their manager Brendan Rasdale.

Having defeated both Antrim’s Cargin and Trillick (Tyrone) in the last two rounds, the Fermanagh champions are growing in confidence with each game.

Now, they face an experienced Kilcoo side, but Derrygonnelly are just as experienced having played in the last five Ulster campaigns.

Rasdale told the Fermanagh Herald that preparations for the semi-final have been going well and they are heading to the Athletic Grounds in a confident mood.

“The lads have been very good. We were delighted with the victory over Trillick and after that game we were all on a real high, but we settled down to the next task quickly,” said Rasdale.

“We have no injuries to report which is great ahead of a huge game against Kilcoo which is going to be high in intensity. Ultimately, semi-finals are there to be won and that’s exactly what we will give it.”
