Fermanagh made their goals count this afternoon as they saw off Lancashire by 2-13 to 0-15 at Brewster Park.

Having trailed 0-9 to 0-7 at the break, both of the home side’s goals came in the second-half to help ensure a victory which moves them two points clear at the top of the Lory Meagher Cup table.

In Carrick-on-Shannon, first-half goals from Clement Cunniffe and Colm Moreton proved crucial for Leitrim as they booked a 2-16 to 1-16 win over Cavan.

Jack Barry’s 30th minute goal helped the Breffni men to go in level at the break (2-7 to 1-10), but a sending of for Kevin Conneely 22 minutes into the second-half didn’t help their cause and the home side closed out victory thanks to the points of centre-forward Ben Murray.
