Jim McGuinness is being lined up for the Mayo job - if Stephen Rochford decides to step down.

Rochford is currently mulling over his future following a disappointing championship campaign and key backroom team members Tony McEntee, Peter Burke and Donie Buckley have already signalled their intentions to step down.

The Irish Sun is reporting that Mayo chiefs will turn to 2012 All-Ireland winning Donegal manager McGuinness if the current incumbent decides to walk away.
