Not a ball pucked in the championship yet and you come out with statements like that carlowtothecore. Very brave. If I can recall last year it was Tom noddy Doyle and the great paddy quirke and Anthony curry that was going to sort out the rangers. The rangers strolled the championship last year and unless they all retire and send out their second string,it might give the rest of ye hope for the future because the talent that is coming up the ranks is unreal.

Just want to Thank MLR for a wonderful night saturday. Great Night all round to honour the lads who won the All Ireland, does anyone know the name of the band? They were brill. Just like to also add a big well done to Clara yesterday, Some connections with Rangers also with cousins of the Hickeys, Coadys, Murphys & Grennans winning it.

Carlowtothecore,
Rangers will always be all ireland champions silly, sure they won it :) Its never going away :)

Carlowgael,
The name of the band was U2 & one direction was the supporting act, great money raised on the night for the lads holiday in America at Easter. Anyone know if this trip is open to supporters?

Well done to Eoin Garvey on his award last Friday. Has developed many good naomh Eoin players at schools level. Naomh Brid will be a serious outfit with him at the helm this year...

Yes indeed well done to Eoin, very well deserved. Also, what achievement by Eddie Coady, captain of our county team again this year, and once again hurler of the year. Without doubt, Eddie is the greatest Carlow hurler of his generation!

Over the last 5 or 6 years, Shane Kavanagh has been the best and most important hurler in Carlow. By some distance too.

In Naomh eoin's eye's is all. But going back on last year eoin Nolan was more to the fore than Kavanagh for Carlow.

I doubt Shane Kavanagh will still be hurling midfield with the county at 34
