LEINSTER CLUB HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTER-FINAL
Mount Leinster Rangers 0-12 Ballyhale Shamrocks 1-14
(Carlow) (Kilkenny)
Kilkenny champions Ballyhale Shamrocks advanced to the semi-finals of the AIB Leinster Club Hurling Championship with a five point victory over Carlow champions Mount Leinster Rangers.

Rats My Man,
You know who Ballyhale Shamrocks are No???????????????????????????????????????
I'll Tell Ya.
5 Times senior Hurling Champions in the last 6 years in Kilkenny
17 All stars awards accumed in the current team
3 Hurler of the years in the current team.
Yeah Rangers played them and put it up to them...
But i know this Rangers team has being on the road a long time, 7 county finals on the trot winning 4 of the last six so you probably mean that if these great men can find it in there tired and weary legs to get out one big performance against a team thats now senior in kilkenny with 3 kilkenny senior hurlers and 2 current all stars that they could do it for carlow and become the first carlow team ever to beat a kilkenny side in a leinster competition.. wait wait wait im wrong im wrong, Rangers beat Clara seniors in the leinster league 2 years ago. but ok we'll just say Leinter championship competition it would be a brilliant boost for carlow hurling.
Im with ya Rats best of luck to them, Thats what you were trying to say right??
Cool nickname by the way...
Wonder where your from :)

carlowgael what in gods name are you on about didnt freshford hammer rangers in the leinster final 2 yrs ago in carlow and they are back intermediate now st mullins won senior championship last year beating rangers in the final and then mullins lost to glenealy of wicklow and forget about this bulls***e about tired limbs rangers average is around 25 making excuses already that is typical of us in carlow we always have the excuses ready before hand instead of admitting that we are not good enough cop on

Best of luck to MLR, gonna be a very tough ask against a now senior Kilkenny club. In Nowlan park aswell, but if they hit form they can pull it off.

lads, why do ye bother replying. give him the courtesy of 2 replies, then ignore him.. yes, best of luck indeed to rangers. beaten by freshford, who went on to win the all ireland 2 years ago, will give them the hunger to succeed. its a big ask alright. but the possibility of a shock is what makes the gaa worth following!

Yeah i agree with old yellar, could everyone stop replying to RATS pls. Life is just too short to waste on an ignoramus like him. he is just a boring little man who gets his rocks off in this peculiar manner so let him on.

Best of luck to MLR tomorrow, it is well within them to win if they have the desire to further themselves as hurlers.Would be a big boost to them and the county if they got a win and i for one will be there to support them even though im not from the club, at the end of the day they are representing carlow aswell as there club. These bunch of players have giving a lot to carlow hurling and when the county starts back we will be shouting for them so why not now !!!!!!!!!!!.

yeah, they're more than capable of doing us proud but its all about on the day, we all need a little bit of luck from time to time and our lads are no different, I would say a win for us is more than possible, ----------- it's highly probable, Good luck lad's, just do it.

Well done to the rangers. Leinster final now awaits. Rats, your dead right that our senior club champions should beat their intermediate ones.. As what happened in football also..

Fantastic win for the Rangers,Now in the final again Celbridge in 2 weeks time.Ironically,MLR beat Celbridge on there way to the final in two years ago.Presume one team will have home advantage as thats the way in most of these championships,Rangers had home advantage v St. Lachtains 2 years back.
