Offaly boss Kevin Martin has been dealt a big blow ahead of the upcoming season with the news that a number of players from the Shinrone club won’t be available for 2019.

The Irish Independent reports that Dan and Conor Doughan along with Adrian, Sean and Michael Cleary have all informed Martin that they will sit out the upcoming campaign, having been part of the Faithful County’s panel in recent seasons.

It’s another blow for Tullamore native Martin, who recently lost dual star Sean Ryan to retirement, as he looks to guide Offaly back into the Leinster championship next summer after being relegated from the province by Dublin back in June.
