For the second successive summer Clare and Cork have booked a date in the Munster SHC final after wins over Limerick and Waterford respectively. All four sides are represented on our hurling team of the week…

1. Anthony Nash (Cork)

Nash put in another solid display between the posts as the Rebels came from behind to defeat Waterford and book a date in the southern province's decider.

2. Damien Cahalane (Cork)

Superb in Cork's full-back station especially in the second-half as John Meyler's men hit the front late in Thurles.

3. David McInerney (Clare)

The Tulla defender exerted a big influence once again in the Banner number three jersey, helping to ensure that few goal chances fell the way of Limerick's inside forwards.

4. Jamie Shanahan (Clare)

Shanahan carried out his duties brilliantly in the Clare half-back line and also got forward to send over a point in the impressive win in Ennis.

5. Dan Morrissey (Limerick)

Morrissey was hands down Limerick's best defender on an afternoon to forget for the Shannonsiders at Cusack Park.

6. Austin Gleeson (Waterford)

The Mount Sion sensation led from the back for the Deise men as they went down battling to Cork in what could well be Derek McGrath's last game over his home county.

7. Mark Coleman (Cork)

Cork's best performer in Thurles as they turned it around late on against Waterford, landing a sublime sideline cut in what was the score of the game.

8. Bill Cooper (Cork)

Weighed in with 0-4 from centre-field to help the men from Leeside ensure back-to-back Munster final berths against Clare.

9. Pauric Mahony (Waterford)

The Ballygunner sharpshooter had another fine outing on Sunday although his 0-8 ended up being in vain as Waterford fell to late defeat against Cork.

10. Peter Duggan (Clare)

Another exhibition display from the Clooneyquin ace, popping over 0-13 to punish Limerick's below par display in Ennis.

11. Tony Kelly (Clare)

Kelly had another fine outing for the Banner men and landed 0-4 from open play, along with a sweetly struck '65' in the 11-point victory over Limerick.

12. Tom Morrissey (Limerick)

It was a tough afternoon for Limerick's front men against Clare yesterday but Ahane man Morrissey was unquestionably the pick of them at Cusack Park.

13. John Conlon (Clare)

Clare's main man in attack yesterday as he continued his excellent season so far with four points from play at full-forward.

14. Seamus Harnedy (Cork)

Harnedy stood up and delivered big time for the Rebels when it mattered most yesterday as his late goal turned the tide against Waterford and saw him finish with 1-3 from play.

15. Podge Collins (Clare)

Another fine display from fans' favourite Collins in Ennis sees him edge out Waterford's Tommy Ryan here.
