Antrim club suspend activities for two weeks

Gort na Mona CLG in Antrim has suspended all activities for the next fortnight after one is its players tested positive for Covid-19.

The west Belfast club released a statement yesterday confirming the temporary closure of its facilities, which read:

"One of our players has unfortunately tested positive for Covid-19. As such the club will be closed for the next fortnight, with a view to reopening on Wednesday 26th August subject to a health and safety review.

"No training, matches or other activities in any code will take place in the meantime."

The club are now set to carry out a number of safety measures following advice from Public Health Agency.
