Stephen Rochford won't be leaving his role as Donegal coach after all.

The Connaught Telegraph reported on Saturday that the former Mayo boss was poised to succeed Kevin Walsh as Galway manager, with Padraic Joyce and John Divilly, who guided Galway to a Connacht U20FC title this year, set to be his selectors.

But Donegal sources have quashed such reports and confirmed that Rochford, who replaced Joe Brolly on the RTE panel for their All-Ireland SFC final replay coverage on Saturday, is staying with the Ulster champions for another year.
