The Christy Ring, Nicky Rackard and Lory Meagher Cup finals took centre stage at Croke Park on Saturday and it was celebration time for Meath, Sligo and Leitrim…
1. Declan Molloy (Leitrim)
The Leitrim captain gave a memorable speech after receiving the Lory Meagher Cup.
2. James Weir (Sligo)
The 19-year-old had the honour of lifting the Nicky Rackard Cup after his team’s dramatic win over Armagh.
3. Niall Feehily (Sligo)
Feehily and the Yeats County will compete in the Christy Ring Cup for the first time in the county’s history in 2020.
4. Patrick Quinn (Armagh)
Defeat was a bitter pill to swallow for Quinn and his Orchard County team-mates after they let a four-point lead slip in injury-time.
5. Marc Fisher (Down)
Fisher raised two white flags in the Christy Ring Cup decider but they played second fiddle to Meath.
6. Keith Keoghan (Meath)
Keoghan gave a commanding display in the heart of the Royal County’s defence.
7. Shane Brennan (Meath)
Down scored just 0-7 in the second-half as Brennan & Co came out on top in their personal duels.
8. Seanie Geraghty (Meath)
Captain Geraghty led by example as the Royals claimed the Christy Ring Cup for the second time in three years.
9. Odhran Curry (Armagh)
Curry impressed around the middle third in his team’s Nicky Rackard final defeat.
10. Gerard O’Kelly-Lynch (Sligo)
Dual player O’Kelly-Lynch found the target with 2-1 against Armagh.
11. Colm Moreton (Leitrim)
Moreton’s return of 1-4 was central to his team’s minimum margin success over Lancashire.
12. Jack Regan (Meath)
The team in green and gold’s top scorer contributed 0-9 to their cause against Down.
13. Paul Sheehan (Down)
Sheehan was in fine form at the opposite end of the field and accumulated 1-8 for the Ulster outfit.
14. Keith Raymond (Sligo)
The full-forward’s accuracy from placed balls was a key ingredient in the Yeats County’s success.
15. Adam Gannon (Meath)
The corner-forward hit Down for 2-3 and also created the opening for substitute Nicholas Potterton’s goal.
