As his former Armagh team-mates prepare to run out in Brewster Park this evening, Jamie Clarke says he has no regrets about his decision to up sticks and head for New York.

In a wide-ranging interview in today's Irish Independent, the 2017 All-Star nominee - who was a member of the New York side that took Leitrim to extra-time earlier this month - revealed he has no plans to return home to Crossmaglen.

"Look, I love Armagh so I'll want them to do well. And when I'm watching them I'll want them to do well but I don't think I'll be, 'I wish I was there.' I'll be like, 'Come on lads'."

He continued: "I love going home, seeing the family. I love it. But for a short stay. I try not to stay around home too much or around the club because I love it so you can get attached to it very easily.

"But I'm getting more mature, I'm more content being away now. I ring home a lot, I have a little sister at home. But in terms of missing being home? I don't think so. I don't really ever see myself living there."
