Cavan manager Mickey Graham acknowledges a fan after the win over Laois

Cavan manager Mickey Graham says his squad have a clean bill of health for this Sunday’s crucial clash against Clare at Kingspan Breffni.

The Blues currently sit top of Division 2 after picking up their third consecutive win against Fermanagh last weekend and are set to welcome the Banner men in three days’ time as 2/5 favourites.

Speaking to The Anglo-Celt after the win over the Ernesiders, Graham revealed that he’s now operating with a full squad at his disposal.

“It’s a clean bill of health now, we have a couple of lads returning from injury – Conor Brady, Paul Graham, Conor Smith – which is good and it keeps everybody on their toes,” said the Cavan Gaels man.

“There are a lot of places still up for grabs, lads are coming off the bench and making an impact and that’s what you want. It’s healthy for the team.”

On the team’s performance itself in Enniskillen last Saturday night, the Breffni boss added: “There were times when it looked like the game was going from us and the lads just kept at it. They are building character and their work ethic right to the end was excellent.”
