Kieran Kingston is on the look-out for a new coach after Frank Flannery departed the Cork senior hurling backroom team.

The Carrigtwohill man jointed the Rebels set-up after helping Oulart-The Ballagh win the Leinster club championship last year but Cork endured a disappointing season in both league and championship.

Kingston may appoint from within: he has the option of shifting selector Pat Ryan to the role of coach and bringing in a new selector to work alongside Pat Hartnett and Diarmuid O'Sullivan.
