Conahy Shamrocks (Kilkenny) 0-22

Russell Rovers (Cork) 0-15

Conahy Shamrocks have been crowned All-Ireland club junior hurling champions for a second time after leading from start to finish against Russell Rovers at Croke Park.

James Bergin posted 0-12 (0-8 from frees) and Kieran Mooney chipped in with 0-4 from play as the club of former GAA president Nickey Brennan regained the title they last held in 2008 and ensured that it will remain in Kilkenny for another year following Dunnamaggin's success 12 months ago.

With Bergin, Mooney, Donal Brennan and Eoin Cahill all on target, the Shamrocks stormed into a 0-8 to 0-2 lead after 15 minutes before free-taker Josh Beausang led a Rovers fightback. The Cork side reduced the deficit to two points before Conahy finished the first half strongly to take a 0-11 to 0-7 lead into the break.

With Beausang retiring with a shoulder injury in first half injury-time, Rovers lacked the firepower to trouble the winners who pulled away in the second half for a comfortable victory.
