Cork's O'Sullivan hangs up his boots

Cork defender Jamie O’Sullivan has called time on his inter-county career after eight years with the Rebel County.

O’Sullivan made his debut against Kerry during the Leesiders’ All-Ireland SFC winning season in 2010 and also enjoyed three National League victories with his county along with two Munster championship successes.

The Bishopstown clubman was a part of Cork’s All-Ireland U21 winning side in 2009 and helped UCC to Sigerson Cup glory in 2011.

Both Cork and Bishopstown wished the 29-year-old corner-back all the best on his retirement yesterday:
