Champions Nemo Rangers didn't register a score until the 43rd minute as they made a humiliating exit from the Cork SFC this evening at the hands of Castlehaven in Dunmanway.

All-Ireland club finalists last March, the Capwell outfit trailed by 0-3 to 0-0 at the end of a shockingly poor opening half and fell 0-0 to 1-7 behind before Luke Connolly finally opened their account at the end of the third quarter, with Michael Hurley scoring the game's only goal two minutes into the second period.

Nemo improved thereafter, but the result was never in doubt as 'Haven cruised to a 1-11 to 0-4 win and a place in the county semi-final against divisional side Duhallow, who were 0-13 to 0-9 winners over Valley Rovers in Pairc Ui Rinn yesterday. Recently-retired county star Donnacha O'Connor was the scoring star for the winners.

St Finbarr's and Carbery Rangers will face off in the other semi-final following their respective quarter-final victories over Douglas and Clonakilty. Goals from Stephen Sherlock and Enda Dennehy helped the 'Barr's defeat their city rivals by 2-8 to 0-11, while Carbery were 1-18 to 0-11 winners over Clon'.
