Mick Lillis will return to his native Clare after his Laois team were paired with the Banner in this morning All-Ireland SFC Round 2A qualifier draw.

The O'Moore County boss lined out at centre back on the Cooraclare team that claimed Jack Daly Cup honours in 1986 before moving to Portlaoise. The game, which is expected to be played in Ennis, will be a real family affair with Lillis' son Kieran and nephew Pearse being members of the Laois and Clare teams respectively.

Indeed, with Kieran lining out at centre back in the O'Moore County's win over Armagh on Saturday and Pearse operating at wing forward in Clare's recent Munster SFC semi-final loss to Kerry, there's every chance they could end up marking each other.
