Donal Og Cusack's appointment as a Clare hurling selector was ratified at this week's Clare county board meeting.
The monthly meeting in Clareabbey rubber-stamped the senior hurling and football management teams for 2016. Hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald will be assisted by former goalkeeper Cusack, Aonghus O'Brien, Jimmy Payne, Louis Mulqueen and Michael Browne.
The football management will comprise Colm Collins (manager), Mick Bohan, David O'Brien and Keith Hennessy (strength and conditioning).
The meeting also heard that the Banner County's new Centre of Excellence at Caherlohan will be officially opened next month.
