The mouth-watering All-Ireland SHC qualifier round 2 clash between Clare and Cork is this Saturday's live match on Sky Sports.

Semple Stadium is the venue as these two hurling heavyweights go head-to-head with an All-Ireland SHC quarter-final place up for grabs.

If recent Clare v Cork games are anything to go by, armchair hurling fans are in for a treat.

The Banner County got their hands on the Liam McCarthy Cup for the fourth time in their history courtesy of a 5-16 to 3-16 replay victory over the Rebels two years ago but Jimmy Barry-Murphy & Co gained revenge with a 2-23 to 2-18 Munster semi-final victory 12 months ago.

Cork got their 2015 championship campaign back on track with an impressive showing against Wexford last Saturday evening while Davy Fitzgerald and his Clare players comfortably saw off the challenge of Offaly in Ennis.

Hurling analysts Jamesie O'Connor, JJ Delaney and Ollie Canning will discuss the various permutations in the company of presenters Rachel Wyse and Brian Carney.

Sky Sports News will show highlights as well as news, interviews and results on their 24-hour news channel, while skysports.com/GAA will have match reports, fixtures and interviews as well as news, blogs, videos and galleries.

Sky Sports customers can watch live on TV, or on mobile or tablet devices with Sky Go.

Tune in to Sky Sports 3 HD at 6.30pm for all the team news and build-up to the game, which has a throw-in time of 7pm.
