Clare manager Colm Collins is hopeful that some of his injured stars will be back for the All-Ireland SFC qualifiers.

The Banner were outplayed by Cork in the Munster SFC semi-final last Sunday and now they must regroup before entering the qualifying campaign in a few weeks.

Collins is hopeful that some of the players on the treatment table at the moment will return, although he admitted that others like his son Podge were long term absentees.

Speaking to the Clare champion, Collins said: "We should have three or four back in a week or two and that will be a bit of a help and we will have a stronger squad.

"There are a few long term injuries and those fellas won't be back in time."
