Conor McGrath is a notable absentee from the Clare attack for today's Munster SHC semi-final against Limerick.

The Cratloe man has failed to recover in time for the hamstring injury he suffered in the Banner's Allianz League Division 1A relegation playoff defeat to Kilkenny at the end of March, meaning last year's U21 star David Reidy starts alongside fellow Eire Og clubman Shane O'Donnell and John Conlon in the full forward line.

Meanwhile, Conor Ryan has recovered from injury to take his place at centre back, but Colm Galvin (in the US), Brendan Bugler (suspended) and Podge Collins (football commitments) are all missing.

Clare (SH v Limerick): Patrick Kelly; Domhnall O'Donovan, Cian Dillon, David McInerney; Pat Donnellan, Conor Ryan, Jack Browne; Pat O'Connor, Gearoid O'Connell; Shane Golden, Tony Kelly, Colin Ryan; John Conlon, Shane O'Donnell, David Reidy.
