Munster MFC: Clare too good for Treaty

Limerick started well in Ennis and were 0-3 to 0-1 up early on with the elements at their backs.

Clare hit their first goal through Seanie Malone on the 20 minute mark and by the interval had hit a further six unanswered points to lead by 1-7 to 0-3 at the break.

A second goal from Conor Lynch in the third quarter put the Banner 2-9 to 0-4 ahead as they eased home.

Clare now play Tipperary in the Munster semi-final on May 13.
