Clare football selector Ger Keane has stressed that they can't be relying on other results in their quest to avoid relegation from Division Three.

The Banner go into the last match of the league needing a win to make sure of their Division three survival, although even a defeat might not see them relegated, if other results go their way.

Nonetheless, Keane stressed to the Clare Champion that they will be going all out for the win against the already promoted Fermanagh.

"We don't even want to go down that road. Even though a lot of elements of our performance were very disappointing, the key thing for us now is to try and refocus and regroup and try to beat Fermanagh," said Keane.

"If you start looking at other results, you're looking at trouble."
