Clare defender Gordon Kelly has stressed that last weekend's win over Wexford is a distant memory.

Kelly states in the Clare Champion that the focus is now on their next match against Louth this Sunday, despite their very impressive display against Wexford.

The Banner hammered the Leinster outfit to get their Division Three campaign off to a perfect start, but he admitted that the result will count for night if they don't push on from here.

"Every day, we're going out, we're trying to raise the level. It's the first round of the league and every round we go out, we try and lift it," said Kelly.

"It's about going out week in, week out working hard in training and trying to bring that to the day of the game."
