Collins looks forward

Cratloe football manager Colm Collins believes having a Munster club SHC final to look forward too is one way of getting over a provincial club SFC semi-final defeat.

Following on from their defeat to The Nire last weekend, the Cratloe dual players don't have much time to dwell on the defeat as they prepare for Sunday's Munster club SHC final against Kilmallock.

Collins admitted to the Clare Champion that the players are already looking ahead and stressed that the theme of this week would be rest and recovery.

"The lads went for a recovery session straight after the game," said Collins. They went to the pool in the Park Hotel. Extra time wasn't ideal but, hopefully, they can recover and go out and do themselves justice.

"A Munster final is a big event and I don't think that there will be any problem, they will be fine. We will put this behind us and get on with it. It's great to be beaten in a Munster semi-final and have a final to look forward to the next week."
