Ryan in bonus territory

October 17, 2014

Cratloe's Conor Ryan believes that anymore success this year will be a bonus.

Ryan is one of a number of dual stars that helped Cratloe to win the senior hurling and football championship double in Clare.

The rural club are now battling for Munster club glory on two fronts and Ryan stressed to the Clare Champion that they will be giving it their all in both campaigns.

"We are into bonus territory now. You don't set out at the start of the year to win Munster clubs; you set out to win county championships," said Ryan.

"We have gone to the top of the mountain that we have wanted to do for years and thought we might never get to, so we are going to enjoy this.

"We will take stock during the week and think about the Munster clubs. We got Crokes last year and fell just short and we will be looking at that. We are not as packed with fixtures as last year."
