Podge Collins is "over the moon" to have won a Clare senior football / hurling double with Cratloe.

Prior to last Sunday, it had been 100 years since a club completed the elusive double in the Banner County and 2013 All-Ireland hero Collins now has Munster club football and hurling campaigns to look forward to this autumn / winter:

"It's surreal, really, something you dream about as a young lad and to achieve it was unreal," he comments in The Irish Daily Star.

"We are in a good place and if you are winning at anything you are going to be enjoying it, but to win the double, we are over the moon.

"I don't think we feel under any pressure. When you get a bit of success going week in, week out, you get a bit of momentum.

"Cratloe is a small place. Up to 2009, we had never won a senior county championship and to win two in the one year is phenomenal really.

"It nearly means more because it's the lads you've grown up and will finish with - you are playing with your neighbours."
