Following Clare's exit from the All-Ireland race at the hands of Galway last Saturday, the attention this weekend switches to the start of the senior camogie championship.

Champions Newmarket will begin their defence against Kilkisken at Clarecastle this evening. Also in Group B, Kilmaley and Scariff-Ogonnelloe will face off in Kilkishen at 12 noon tomorrow.

The two Group A ties are both down for decision this evening with Clooney-Quin playing Sixmilebridge in Kilkishen and Inagh-Kilnamona taking on Truagh-Clonlara in Shannon. Tweet
