Paudie Kissane has stressed the need for the Clare footballers to bounce back quickly after their near miss against Kerry last Sunday.

The team coach and former Cork star told the Clare Champion: "Clare have a lot to be proud of, but we have to win the next day out to rubberstamp what we have done today.

"The reaction is one of great disappointment, but there is ambition there and we will regroup in the middle of the week and drive on. We have to look forward. They (Kerry) are one of the contenders for the All-Ireland.

"We did so much well. We didn't do everything perfect, but the lads are learning." Tweet
