Clare Champion Cup Division 1A
Sixmilebridge 2-12 v 1-17 Clarecastle
Round 1 @ Clarecastle
Saturday 05th April
The seniors lost out to Clarecastle in the opening round of the Clare Champion cup last Saturday. They trailed at the break by 1-11 to 1-06 with Alan Mulready the goal scorer. On the turnover they fought back strongly and a goal from Niall Gilligan on 50 minutes reduced the gap to one but the Magpies held on for the win.

Sixmilebridge 0-10 v 4-09 Tulla
Round 1 @ SMB
Sunday 06th April
Sixmilebridge welcomed Tulla to O'Garney Park on Sunday last for their first game in Division 1B which is made up mostly of senior teams. On the day the ability of the visitors to get goals at crucial times was the main difference. At half time Tulla led by 2-06 to 0-06.

Division 4 League
Sixmilebridge 1-10 v 1-07 St. Joseph's Doora/Barefield
Round 1 @ Gurteen
Tuesday 08th April
An under strength Junior A team made the trip to Gurteen on Tuesday evening to take on St. Joseph's Doora/Barefield in the first round of the division 4 league. Despite trailing 1-5 to 0-4 at the break the 'Bridge fought back strongly and recorded a three point win. Ronan Cahill was the goalscorer.

Meanwhile, this weekend sees the U21 A team bid to retain their title when they take on Ballyea in the final on Sunday in Clarecastle. The senior, intermediate, junior A and junior C teams will also be in league action this weekend.
