Mick O'Dwyer accepts that a Munster SFC success is beyond his Clare charges but he wants to use his time as manager to raise the profile of Gaelic football in the Banner County.
Clare await the winners of Cork and Limerick in the Munster semi-final on June 16 but their legendary manager isn't expecting any shock results down south this summer.
We will be playing them (Cork or Limerick) in the next round in Ennis so it looks very much as if Cork will win that side of the draw," O'Dwyer told
DCUfm.
"I think it's going to be a Kerry/Cork Munster final.
"The one thing I'd like to do in Clare is generate an interest in Gaelic football."
