Michael O'Shea is expected to miss Clare's Munster SFC semi-final against Cork or Limerick in Cusack Park on June 16.

The Clare Champion reports that the experienced corner forward is facing a spell on the sidelines after being injured whilst playing for his club St. Senan's, Kilkee last weekend.

There's better news concerning team captain Gary Brennan, who is expected to return to training next week after recovering from a fractured rib he sustained in Clare's final Allianz Football League Division 4 outing against Limerick on April 7 last. Last year's skipper Alan Clohessy has also resumed training following an ankle injury.

In a further boost for Banner boss Mick O'Dwyer, Graham Kelly has re-joined the squad. Clare have arranged two challenge matches against Galway for next Wednesday, May 15 and Saturday, June 1, while in between, they will face Meath on Thursday, May 23.
