Considine changes mind on Limerick job

Tony Considine
Tony Considine has admitted he has had a change of heart and won't now be gunning to succeed Richie Bennis as team-manager of the Limerick senior hurling team.
Considine was hotly fancied to be the new boss of the Shannonsiders but last night (Thursday) he decided to pull out of the race to succeed Bennis.
"The way I looked at it, it's a full-time job now at intercounty level, and you either have to be retired, semi-retired or a teacher to give the job the attention it demands," said Considine.
"I work in the financial sector, it's a busy period for me, and I just don't have that time. I'd like to thank Garryspillane, the club that nominated me, but I have to pull out.
"I was interested in the job, no question about that, but the interview process dragged on a bit which gave me time to think, and I decided it was just too much.
"It was a tough decision to make, one I took very reluctantly."
