Former Clare forward Niall Gilligan is set for a 24th season with his club Sixmilebridge in 2019.
The Irish Examiner reports today that that the 42-year-old had successfully been regarded to the intermediate ranks at the February Clare county board meeting.
Gilligan, who was part of the Banner County's 1999 All-Ireland winning side, has won six county senior championships with the Bridge and featured for them in last year’s championship quarter-final exit to Cratloe.
It was confirmed last month that Wexford boss Davy Fitzgerald will come on board with the club’s senior team as a coach, with former Clare selector Tim Crowe managing the side.
