Killygarry For Senior Title Yeah well said milhouse. Scruffy2Donut , 19/03/2010 at 21:27
Killygarry For Senior Title face it lads the pick of the rest would not beat them... they are the best team this county has produced in years, pity for them that a lack of sucess outside cavan will taint their memories, i would imagine the 4 lads who got red cards against st. galls felt pretty embarrassed St.Paddys day milhouse , 19/03/2010 at 21:04
Cavan vs. Sligo-League Rd.5 well if we keep playing midfielders in midfield we have a chance, not a concidence that certain "players" not being there, and us winning the first MF battle of the year me thinks milhouse , 19/03/2010 at 20:58
Cavan vs. Sligo-League Rd.5 well i think the best way for this cavan team to be more consistent is for them to keep to more or less the same team for at least a year no matter how the results go for us ,all the changing around with new faces in and out is damaging the team ,look at monaghan there team nearly looks the same every time yea they switch players around a bit but i think its what got them playing a higher division football each player knows what each other can do and they know where they can score from so they try get that player into them positions ,so i say leave the panel and subs we have and let them work at it -it will get better .and sligo should be a game cavan should have no problem beating but its all on the day too ,best of luck ,and no doubt sligo will have watched cavans last time out and might have a worry about there midfield so its important they dont let sligo kick it out short . bisto kid , 19/03/2010 at 19:42
Minor League Focusing on Div2 for a minute, all those that said Laragh wud win division 2 are sadly mistaken,( jagerman316, sausageholes, peachsnaps) with only one point from four games and they have to play kingscourt who are a good side, killenkere who are joint second and top team at the minute lacken, they'll be lucky to get two points from them games and would have to hope kingscourt lose their last three( which isn't likely) for them to avoid relagation, Also i believed Kingscourt would be strong, but they have failed to deliever, doesnt say much for the future of kingscourt, they have been a div1 team all through underage now they cant compete in div2, lack players out from Terry Reilly and Joe Dillon, Believe the lather was missing against lacken but he played the 3 other games, thebomber14 , 19/03/2010 at 14:32
Cavan vs. Sligo-League Rd.5 We're going to win, lose or draw. I don't think anyone can seriously call what Cavan team will show up on Sunday. iluvkeoghan , 19/03/2010 at 14:28
Cavan vs. Sligo-League Rd.5 A narrow Cavan victory...no then again, what am I hoping for? We won our last match and played very well, so im guessing this time we're going to be beaten. Thats how it usually goes. Scruffy2Donut , 19/03/2010 at 13:32
Kingscourt and Ramor to challenge real soon How are Drumgoon fairing out in Cavan, used to be aa cavan man but left as a cub. Are they any good? Patch_eyes88 , 18/03/2010 at 21:32

Minor League Ballyhaise did not win by 7 points they won marginally by 3 points. As a neutral at the match I was shocked at the poor quality of football on display from supposed division 1 sides. It really was dire stuff and how both teams have fallen so far backwards from just last year is shocking. Mind you from hearing the names of selectors over the teams I am not suprised at all. They are more intent on playing their sons in their favourite positions than about the well being of the teams.Contrast that to the Lavey game and it was supposed to be a great game between two exciting well managed sides. I also seen some of the Gaels - Gowna last weekend and both teams will be up there this season. jacknoff , 18/03/2010 at 20:04
Minor League 5-5 to 2-7 zamora , 18/03/2010 at 17:28
Cavan vs. Sligo-League Rd.5 Another week, another match. A good result last week and in much better form but can we continue with a consecutive win in Markievicz Park this Sunday ahead of the game against Sligo. A vital game for us. Whats the thoughts on the game ahead? Breifne_Blue , 18/03/2010 at 16:55
Drumlane GAA West cavan will never win the championship, drumlane will always be there or there abouts...young half back line is full of running and is a good attacking platform to build on... Patch_eyes88 , 18/03/2010 at 15:41
League Tables Can't understand how they can say that the county board doesn't have the weekend results when the PRO sends them to the Irish Independent on Sunday evenings. The board should take a look at the Kilkenny website, there if you click on a clubs name you get all their fixtures for the year, if you click on a venue you get all games to be played at that venue and if you click on the competition you get the appropriate league table. It's very user friendly and doesn't look that expensive. Giles , 18/03/2010 at 14:11
League Tables 30 players,ref,2 lines men,4 umpires, coaches and subs.yes they should be able to see that, but why would papers waste their time when it looks there is no interest.does the celt not have fixtures every week?the county website doesnt.the county website is an absolute disgrace, just because it's not up to date doesnt mean the celt cant be. shapes42 , 18/03/2010 at 13:51
Kingscourt and Ramor to challenge real soon Perhaps Tommy Carr should give Val Yore a call, he's being doing the business with Munterconnacht for years. Scruffy2Donut , 18/03/2010 at 13:40
League Tables bit of a broad ststementSo there are less than thirty people at minor league games? People who participate in Minor U14 etc should not be able to read about how they are doing in relation to their opponents? The county board just admitted that they don't have up to date league tables so i wouldn't imagine the celt could publish with the frequency you suggest in light of thatYou really don't make sense ochonlir , 18/03/2010 at 13:28
League Tables you.im saying that the celt has the tables for div 1,2 and 3 every week,or at worst every other week.any leagues other than that, tend to have more people on the pitch than people supporting.so if people arent showing interest in the games why would you feel someone would be interested in the tables? shapes42 , 18/03/2010 at 13:14
Kingscourt and Ramor to challenge real soon is the great Raymond Tynan still togging out for Virginia, he was a ringer for Hughie Emerson of Laois in his Maynooth days salmoneile , 18/03/2010 at 13:06
