Strange decision to have no Spring League. Nice for players to get a chance to impress and play warm up games. Killinkere after entering South Ulster League to get games.

clubs didn't want the spring/breffni league. A few years ago, gaels entered their b team into it and brought their senior squad to Dublin for challenge matches. It's a bit like the mc kenna cup !!!!!!!!

Most clubs will organise challenge matches outside the county as these will be more competitive than the spring/breffni league.

Club players wanted the Spring League. The Breffni League was too many fixtures and soread out over year. Players were happy to play Spring League because it wrapped up quickly and was beneficial to them.
