Congrats to Paul Brady again on winning world title nr 5 in a row. A super achievement & a sport that doesn't get the media coverage or publicity that it's other gaa cousins receive on a daily/weekly/yearly basis in the tabloids or on forums like this. When you see how many column inches that the whole #hairgate incident involving McCann from tyrone received & not a mention about what Mr Brady was hoping to achieve in Canada, makes you wonder where journalists priorities lie. If he was from a bigger county or closer to the big smoke i'm sure there would be much more coverage then. Anyway, you have all the medals, trophies & accolades possible to win & you will go down as the greatest player to have played the game.

Fair play to the man, anyone who dominates their sport for that amount of time and amasses a medal haul like Paul Brady deserves significant recognition. Some achievement, it would be nice to see the media report on handball a bit more.

Can anyone outline how the sport is governed? Is it exclusively GAA? If so, why was the final in Canada?

I think because the winner gets paid I may well be wrong. It would be fantastic to have it in the Olympics and for Paul to win Gold single and double with young Finnegan
