There should be a limit of no more then three teams in an amalgamation. West Cavan Gaels (5 clubs) must have a pick of about 60 plus players which is ridiculous. Some competition for places! Drumlane and Belturbet should have amalgamated as they are only a short radius from each other, rather then have two separate amalgamations between the two clubs.

8 clubs involved in the prelimanary round game between Assan Gaels and West Cavan Gaels. Assan have been very strong in the past few years.Southern gaels v Cavan Gaels looks a good game.

Very unfair to ask the Gaels to play u21 championship 1 week before their Ulster Club game.Again it seems that there are different rules for different clubs.Cootehill were not asked to play any game 1 week before they played in Ulster.

Was it fair to ask Kingscourt to play the county final just 1 week after their semi final. while the Gaels had a full 2 weeks to prepare, gaelsutd?

Including the Gaels semi final they played three weeks in a row.sour grapes i see..not fair to ask any club to play one week before any Ulster Club game.Kingscourt had 4 weeks break prior to their semi final.

Yes, but the game is now on the 9th of November, so the u21 has no impact on it.

No need to worry now boys. Gaels bet convincingly. The pair of Galligan's were outstanding and a few strange sendings off in the game. 3G is a decent venue to hold all the games also in my opinion.
