Have West Cavan enough in that amalgamation FoolsGold (Cavan) - Posts: 2763 - 08/10/2014 16:28:18 1661534 Link 0 |
West Cavan Gaels, 5 Clubs? REALLY? Never seen an almalgamation of 5 Clubs before. Champion2011 (Cavan) - Posts: 230 - 08/10/2014 17:06:10 1661552 Link 0 |
There should be a limit of no more then three teams in an amalgamation. West Cavan Gaels (5 clubs) must have a pick of about 60 plus players which is ridiculous. Some competition for places! Drumlane and Belturbet should have amalgamated as they are only a short radius from each other, rather then have two separate amalgamations between the two clubs. lifebuoy (Cavan) - Posts: 628 - 08/10/2014 17:41:40 1661565 Link 0 |

If West Cavan Gaels win the division 1 title there will be some craic in Belturbet/Templeport/Shannon Gaels/Swanlinbar/Kildallon that night. IamADragon (Cavan) - Posts: 304 - 08/10/2014 21:08:16 1661639 Link 0 |

Division 1 - Cavan Gaels, Kingscourt, Ramor Utd, Killann Gaels, Castlerahan, Eire Og Celtic, Southern Gaels, St Joseph's, Crosserlough, West Cavan Gaels, Assan Gaels mark35 (Cavan) - Posts: 9 - 13/10/2014 13:15:32 1663157 Link 0 |
8 clubs involved in the prelimanary round game between Assan Gaels and West Cavan Gaels. Assan have been very strong in the past few years.Southern gaels v Cavan Gaels looks a good game. FoolsGold (Cavan) - Posts: 2763 - 14/10/2014 14:32:03 1663549 Link 0 |

Very unfair to ask the Gaels to play u21 championship 1 week before their Ulster Club game.Again it seems that there are different rules for different clubs.Cootehill were not asked to play any game 1 week before they played in Ulster. gaelsutd (Cavan) - Posts: 602 - 21/10/2014 15:03:16 1665790 Link 0 |
Was it fair to ask Kingscourt to play the county final just 1 week after their semi final. while the Gaels had a full 2 weeks to prepare, gaelsutd? IamADragon (Cavan) - Posts: 304 - 21/10/2014 15:17:59 1665795 Link 0 |
Including the Gaels semi final they played three weeks in a row.sour grapes i see..not fair to ask any club to play one week before any Ulster Club game.Kingscourt had 4 weeks break prior to their semi final. gaelsutd (Cavan) - Posts: 602 - 21/10/2014 15:25:43 1665797 Link 0 |

Yes, but the game is now on the 9th of November, so the u21 has no impact on it. FoolsGold (Cavan) - Posts: 2763 - 21/10/2014 16:23:05 1665821 Link 0 |
No need to worry now boys. Gaels bet convincingly. The pair of Galligan's were outstanding and a few strange sendings off in the game. 3G is a decent venue to hold all the games also in my opinion. Rory22 (Cavan) - Posts: 1 - 01/11/2014 12:01:45 1668813 Link 0 |
