Great idea!

I believe there is text voting in place too this year. Every player will be assigned a number and the public can vote right up until Nov 15th at presentation night. Fair play. Getting better every year!

How is text voting a good thing? Popularity contest where people who probably weren't at game have a say in the team. Should be picked by a panel actually at game. Same as player of the year going to public vote. Wrong.

The player of year. Senior intermediate and junior. It's done by vote and players that should have won miss out.

The Breffni All Stars is a completely different award. You are on about the Player of The Year which is run by The Cavan Co Board.

The Breffni All Stars is ran by Munterconnaught GFC and awards club players for performances and then an All Star Team is picked on a presentation night in November.

All Stars for week 3 announced. 12 different teams from Jnr, Inter and Snr chosen so good wide spread. See Brendan Sweeney as ref of the week. Was anyone at Ramor v Denn game? Was he good?

I was at it. Celt said and breffni all stars said let the game flow. A free really had to be earned which to me is not a good thing. Blatant fouls let go and used the advantage rule incorrectly too.
