Givney has returned to Mountnugent. A boost for them in the Junior Championship. Eamon Reilly of Shannon Gaels transferred to Ballyboden. Gavin Duffy Cavan Gaels. gone to a Club in Louth.

A few big names looking to transfer to Cavan Gaels.
My advice is stay where youse are because unless you are County material you may not get a game with the Cavan Gaels first team

Whoever tomsmith is he must have serious issues with cavan gaa. In a week where the lads have given us a shot at promotion why cause annoyance to players or fans with stuff like this. I ask again all posters ignore this wind up because it now has potential to affect the players.

I just wonder how anyone can associate my comments as above that fellows are / have been looking to transfer to the Cavan Gaels GAA Football club as being anti-Cavan. I can assure you that this has been happening over the years where fellows look to progress and while we had high powered transfers away from our Club ( which we did not object to ) we always remained competitive in the Cavan Senior football championship. While I feel that this about to change I see new teams coming on board. Best of luck to Cavan against Galway and I do hope that my posts would not be associated with the downfall of our teams ability to reach promotion. As for Tomsmith Cavan Town has only one Tomsmith just ask Mrs Tomsmith

Funny TomSmith how Cavan Gaels only have 2 starters on the County team at the best of times and maybe 4/5 panel players yet you'd need to be county level to play for such Club!!!

I would say that Shane McSweeney is the biggest signing by any Cavan club this year, he could be in the Cavan panel come championship time.
