StirringIt. Unless he has a twin brother...he was there. How else could he get "Manager" of The Week?

Peter Canavan was on the sideline.

Calm don - was just asking as there was talk that he didnt make it cos he on Sky duty.
Anyway club football is a farce this year and to be honest I've lost all interest in it when you see a team like Castlerahan who were beaten twice and were still in the championship.
Enjoy the rest of the year as I'm out !!
Maybe a break from now to spring might give me my enthusiasm back. Good luck to all .. byeeee

alot off the players seem to have twin brothers also.
McKeever started corner forward, they're full forward played midfield instead.
And didn't Barry Reilly start centre forward and Killian Clarke full forward?

The all star team last year went on to backbone the All Ireland Junior Champions. Fairly shows alot of begrudgers on here.

Munterconnaught should be applauded for this venture, it's a small way to raise a few bob and give otherwise unheralded players some recognition for their efforts. Munchies have one "selector" on the group of selectors (I think there are 5 in total) from all over teh County so they cannot be accused of favouritism.

What isn't well known is the County Board called Munterconnaught in for a meeting and informed them the Co Board would not allow them run this venture from 2015 onward as it was too successful and the Co Board would be taking it over for their own benefit.

I'm talking about the team that actually played against Cavan in the All-star match. Most of the team that day came from nominated players as many of the actual all-stars were injured. After the game Hyland based his panel on this group of players and as they say, the rest is history.

I think its a bit rich of the County Board to take over this venture when Munterconnaught had the original idea.
Clubs should be applauded for coming up with new fundraising activities and the county board should come up their own fundraising ideas.

Wouldn't agree with the choice of refs. Bad decision there. After his final and semi final display, Johnston should be on it. Lyng should be there aswel.

Johnson should surely be on that panel after his semi and final performances??

Great idea by Munterconnaught. Should be a super night. See Jimmy Magee and Colm O'Rourke are presenting the awards this year. Peter Canavan nominated too. All Star line-up!
