Two U14 Championship Semi-finals last weekend!

Well done to our two U14 teams last weekend. Our Division 2 played Cuchulainns on Friday evening and came away with a great victory to qualify for the final where they will meet Cavan Gaels. Our Division 5 side played Kildallan on Sunday in Butlersbridge and won as well to qualify for the final against Castletara.

Under 11 Girls

Well done to our U11 Girls who had a fabulous run in the Autumn League. The met Killinkere last Saturday in the semi-final and won out in a great match. They now meet Bailieboro in the final.

1st Anniversary Mass

We fondly remember our former Chairman and Treasurer, Peadar Conaty R.I.P., whose first anniversary mass was held in Killygarry last Sunday to a full church.

Gerard Reilly (Poles) Memorial U10 Tournament

Well done to our U10 Boys who won the Gerard Reilly (Poles) Memorial Tournament last Saturday in Killygarry. They defeated a fancied Gowna side in the final. Mullahoran won the Shield final against Butlersbridge. We had two teams in the tournament. The other clubs were Denn, Crosserlough and Cavan Gaels. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped out with the car park, refereeing, umpiring, linesmen and, in particular, to all those who provided the refreshments throughout the morning.

U12s in Ramor Tournament

Our U12 Boys took part in the Michael Farrelly Cup hosted by Ramor Utd. in Virginia last weekend. They reached the semi-final where they were defeated by St. Colmcilles from Meath. Many thanks to Ramor Utd for the invitation.

Senior Men

It's back to the last few ACFL fixtures to finish out the season and a league final to look forward to. We had a convincing win away to Swanlinbar at the weekend. The final game is against Bailieboro, probably in a fortnight.

Killykickers

Killykickers are back, starting again at 9.15 AM - 10.30 AM this Saturday (and every Saturday) in Cavan Sports Complex main hall for 4-6 year-old boys and girls. There are plenty of challenging fun activities - warm-ups, target games, ABC (Ability, Balance & Co-ordination). We recognise that this may be the kids' first experience of sport. These specially-developed games and programmes are conducted in a fun and safe environment. It's also an opportunity to make new friends and be part of a club. For any enquiries, contact Padraig on 0872804961.

Learning to Run

Peter Walsh and his team have organised kids running classes every Monday and Wednesday on the walking track between 6.10 PM and 7.00 PM. The classes will promote proper running techniques, improve fitness, be non-competitive and (most important of all) they will be fun. Any enquiries to Peter on 0871038202.
