CLUB NOTES

Best of luck to our U14 and Senior Ladies who are taking part in the mini sevens in Kilmacud Crokes on this Saturday 23rd September as part of the ladies All Ireland Finals weekend.

Hard luck to the Senior Ladies who lost narrowly to Ballymahugh in the Division 3 League Semi Final played last Saturday in Ballymahugh.  Goals from Deirbhile McCaffrey and Roisin Barry got Cornafean back into the game in the second half but the Reds were just unable to push onto victory against a very strong, resolute Ballymahugh team.  Final score Ballymahugh 2 - 7 Cornafean 2 - 5

Thank You...To all club members who helped out in any way at the recent Cavan Gaels v Crosserlough Senior Championship clash in Pairc Naoimh Fionnan on Saturday evening last.
