John Brady has backed Kerry to complete a four-in-a-row of All-Ireland MFC successes after they made light work of his Cavan team at Croke Park yesterday.

David Clifford showed his star quality with a haul of 1-10 as the Kingdom booked their place in the final against either Derry or Dublin with a 12-point win.

"Look, he's an outstanding footballer," the Breffni County boss said of Clifford in the Irish News.

"You'd see clips of him, but when you actually see him up close and in action he's nearly impossible to mark. We couldn't do it today obviously.

"I think the team that beats Kerry will definitely deserve to win the All-Ireland. I don't think there's anyone out there that will be fit to beat them. We played Derry and they beat us by seven points, but I can't see anyone touching Kerry, to be honest."

Brady noted how the loss of midfielder Ronan Patterson to injury after Cavan had reduced the deficit to five points with four minutes of normal time remaining was a huge blow to his side.

"He had scored a point and he played in the ball for our second goal, so losing him was crucial," he said.

"Kerry got a goal then and grabbed the momentum back. We needed the game to keep going with no breaks or stoppages."
